The Ukrainian city of Kyiv was assaulted with waves of drones on Monday, igniting buildings and forcing citizens to run or attempt to shoot them down.

One hit looked to be aimed at the city’s heating system and was directed at an operations center. Another vehicle impacted a four-story residential building, tearing a significant hole in it and causing at least three units to collapse on top of one another.

Four people’s bodies were discovered, including a woman six months pregnant and her husband. Hence, Kira Rudik urges that allies immediately supply Ukraine’s air defense systems.

Kira Rudik’s religious affiliation is unknown, but it has been suggested that she might be Jewish.

In the former Soviet Union, the surname “Rudik” is fairly common. This name has Jewish ancestry as its foundation. She has never mentioned her race or religion, though.

She has never been hesitant to adhere to her firm beliefs. She has demonstrated the greatest love and respect for her motherland, regardless of the religion or race she may belong to.

Rudik, who relocated to America when she was twelve years old and attended high school there, was born on October 14, 1985, in Uzhhorod.

She returned to Ukraine to finish her education, and in 2008 the Faculty of Informatics at the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy awarded her a degree in Information Control Systems and Technologies.

She has positions ranging from tester to top management while working for numerous IT companies in the US and Ukraine.

When Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, martial law was already in effect, and Rudik was in parliament that night.

She asserted that she joined the armed resistance in March 2002, lived with thirty soldiers, and routinely engaged in gun practice. In May 2022, she traveled to Scotland to meet with First Minister Nicola Sturgeon.

In 2005, she began working at Software MacKiev as a software tester. Later, she held positions with MiMedia from 2010 to 2013 and TechTeamLabs from 2013 to 2016.

In 2016, she was appointed COO of Ring Ukraine, a division of Ring that Amazon later purchased. She later served as the company’s chief operating officer.

Rudik campaigned for politics in the 2019 Ukrainian parliamentary elections and was elected as a deputy after placing third on the Voice election list.

Rudik was selected to succeed Svyatoslav Vakarchuk as the leader of Voice on March 12, 2020.

July 29, 2021, the Voice party congress resulted in the expulsion of seven party MPs. Five of them had formally requested to leave the party in writing. The way Rudik managed the party didn’t sit well with these five.
