Why does Molly Mae face so different? An English social media influencer named Molly-Mae Hague finished second in the fifth season of the reality dating program Love Island.
Since 2021, she has served as PrettyLittleThing’s creative director. Hague joined the fifth season of Love Island in 2019 on Day 4.
She teamed up with Tommy Fury, and the duo advanced to the championship round, taking second place. Additionally, she made a cameo in an episode of Tyson Fury: Gypsy King and The Boxer & The Ballroom Dancer, a spin-off featuring Fury and Curtis Pritchard.
Later, she said that the purpose of being in the program was to “advance her career.” During her stay in the Love Island villa, Hague’s Instagram following reportedly increased from 160,000 to around three million.
Why Does Molly Mae Face So Different?
In a comparative photo, the Love Islander Molly Mae face appears dramatically different from the one she shared in 2019 of herself.
Over the past 18 months, Molly-Mae Hague has stopped using face and lip fillers. She now has a more natural appearance and keeps her followers informed of any changes she makes.
And after going to Winter Wonderland this week, Molly-Mae, a Love Island 2019 contestant, shared a photo that looked remarkably identical to one she had taken at the festive attraction in 2019.
She then shared the picture from 2021, in which she was once more seen holding a bag of churros and donning the same brown teddy coat.
The removal of Molly-lip Mae’s filler, jaw filler, and cosmetic bonding on her teeth cost her thousands of dollars this year.
She also advocated for youthful followers on her platform to put off getting cosmetic operations for a few years.
Has Molly Mae Done Plastic Surgery?
Molly Mae face looks so different because she dissolved her lip filler.
“I think I’ve taken all the steps that I want to take now in reversing all the mistakes I made with the fillers, getting things done that I didn’t necessarily need to get done and didn’t think through at the time, about two or three years ago,” Molly said in a YouTube video after having her composite bonds removed to reveal her natural teeth.
Many have referred to her as a “genuine influencer” because she has openly shared her experiences with cosmetic surgery and embraced her natural characteristics.
Molly Mae Early Life And Controversies
Hitchin, Hertfordshire, is where Molly Mae was born. Both of her parents worked for the police. She has a sibling. She was a student at Hitchin’s The Priory School.
Hague competed in beauty pageants as a teen, winning Miss Teen Hertfordshire in 2015 and World Teen Supermodel UK in 2016, and later receiving the first-runner-up prize at the global competition.
She received criticism in March 2021 for conducting an £8,000 online prize draw on Instagram in violation of the rules governing such competitions’ advertising. The Advertising Standards Authority determined she could not show that the winners were chosen relatively and randomly.
Hague was a guest on the YouTube-posted episode of Steven Bartlett’s The Diary of a CEO podcast on December 13, 2021. She made controversial remarks about poverty and wealth disparity in the interview, which led to accusations that she was “tone deaf” and that her remarks were “Thatcherite.”
Asserting that “we all have the same 24 hours in a day,” Hague implied that individuals with less fortunate upbringings than she did only had themselves to blame for their lack of financial security. After these comments generated uproar across the country, she was called to quit as the creative director of PrettyLittleThing.
A post she made to Instagram in July 2022 was taken down because it was an advertisement with that intent deleted.
