Since the television game show’s debut in 2008, she has served as its executive producer. Currently in its 18th season, the show.

There is no official news that Victoria Coren Mitchell is leaving Only Connect. Instead, she has regularly hosted the 18th series of the show since its start on August 29, 2022.

Victoria has been the host of Only Connect since its maiden episode in September 2008. She has successfully run a show that proved modest productions can have a great outcome. 

Only Connect is a BBC television quiz show where teams attempt to find connections between seemingly unrelated clues.

Besides being the host of Only Connect, Victoria is also a weekly columnist for The Telegraph

Additionally, she has a professional career in poker to fall back on. She is someone who made history by becoming the first female to win a large-scale poker tournament on the European Poker Tour (EPT). She has two EPT titles and six money finishes to her name.

Victoria Comes From A Family Of Journalists

Victoria Elizabeth Coren Mitchell was born as the only daughter of Alan Coren and Anne Kasriel. Her Father, Alan, was a celebrated humorist, writer, and Journalist brought up in an Orthodox Jewish household.

Victoria was born in Hammersmith, West London, and grew up in Cricklewood, North London. She has an elder brother named Giles Coren, also a Journalist. Besides, Canadian Journalist and clergyman Michael Coren is her second cousin.

She attended St Paul’s Girls’ School and other independent girls’ schools between the ages of five and eighteen and studied English at St John’s College, Oxford.

Victoria married David Mitchell in November 2012 in North London. The two first met at a film premiere in 2007 and had a brief series of dates, but only began dating properly in 2010.

The couple gave birth to their daughter, Barbara Elizabeth June Mitchell, in May 2015.

David is an actor, comedian, and writer, best known as a part of the comic duo Mitchell and Webb. His other famous works include appearances in Peep Show and The Upstart Crow on the West End.
