According to Metro, the celebrities decided to scale the barrier and enter the premises without a license. A nosy neighbor closely observed the chaos and immediately called the Police. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office received Sam and Colby.
Their mug pictures quickly became trending topics on Twitter. A concerned supporter started a petition asking the Police to let the group depart.
Another person used social media to urge people not to keep calling the Police station where the lads were being held. #FreeSamandColby is a hashtag that someone invented.
According to Hollywood Life, Sam and Colby were released on January 17, 2019. They published several tweets the same day to reassure anxious followers.
The stars changed their working procedures after being arrested. They brought in a new group of professionals and were less hesitant to enter properties with fences around them.
Some others thought the trending hashtag meant the boys got into trouble again. The hashtag gained popularity because it was the first anniversary of Sam and Colby’s arrest, as several Twitter users hypothesized.
The youngsters have only spent one jail sentence so far. They now take their YouTube careers more seriously, and hopefully, they won’t soon find themselves in problems again for making videos.
