Caylee Marie Anthony was born in the United States and raised in Orlando, Florida, by her mother, Casey Marie Anthony, and her paternal grandparents, George and Cindy Anthony.
On July 15, 2008, Cindy called 9-1-1 to report that she hadn’t seen Caylee in 31 days. Cindy said that Caylee had been for the past few weeks before finally admitting that she hadn’t seen her in a while.
Casey fabricated a story to investigators, saying that a nanny had abducted Caylee on June 9 & that she had been searching for her ever since, too terrified to report the abduction.

The Autopsy Report For Caylee Anthony
An autopsy was reportedly conducted on the skeleton to determine the identity. On December 19, 2008, authorities announced that the medical examiner had determined the body to be that of Caylee.
Based on the findings of the autopsy performed on Caylee, medical examiner Dr. Jan Garavaglia determined that she was murdered.
Caylee Anthony’s autopsy revealed that her body parts were “intermixed with two plastic trash bags and a canvas laundry-type bag” when found in a densely wooded area.
Also, according to Dr. Jan, her body parts were dispersed throughout the area. Remains were discovered close to local fauna.
Caylee’s bones had been in a dense forest for about six months when they were discovered.
According to the autopsy report, she was found with her spinal cord and other bones connected to it a few feet away from the plastic bags. Bones, including her skull, were dispersed in various places.
Dr. Jan, who led the search for the missing woman’s remains, had roots grown over the plastic bag and bones, suggesting that she had already died. The decay of her body sparked the same rumors.
In the autopsy report for Caylee Anthony, Dr. Jan noted no signs of trauma or injuries to the bones. She also mentioned that toxicology testing was done on hair samples taken from the scene where her body was located.
The test results were analyzed to determine whether she was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of her death.
So Who Killed Caylee Anthony?
Caylee’s disappearance has yet to be explained. Anthony initially told Police that she had dropped her daughter off at the home of a babysitter named Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez. Then she said no one was there when she got to Caylee’s House.
A woman named Caylee came forward in September 2008 and told Police she had no idea where Caylee or Anthony was. It was reported that she was acquitted of all charges.
Forensic investigators allegedly found signs of decomposition and chloroform use in Anthony’s trunk. A hair found in Anthony’s car trunk had “characteristics of apparent decomposition.”
It was “microscopically similar” to strands of hair found in Caylee’s hairbrush, but the FBI lab report could not definitively say the hair belonged to Caylee.
As shown in the docuseries, Casey was wrongfully accused of murdering her daughter Caylee in 2008, but a jury ultimately acquitted her in 2011. Casey blamed George, Caylee’s abusive Father, for her daughter’s death.

Just What Was Casey Anthony Guilty Of?
News organizations have been enthralled with Casey Anthony for more than ten years.
She has spoken out in an on-camera interview for the first time since being cleared of all charges in the 2011 Caylee death case, including murder, manslaughter, and child abuse.
Caylee was only two years old. In the show, Anthony sticks to the same defense arguments she and her lawyers made back in the day, such as her contention that her Father, George Anthony, sexually abused her and lied to cover up Caylee’s death.
George Anthony has previously refuted both of these allegations in court.
