Recently, New York’s Representative-elect Santos was scrutinized after being accused of fabricating his bio during the election campaign.
Many assumed the 34-year-old had been arrested as the case gained widespread attention. However, we can confirm that Santos has not been arrested as of writing.
Santos’ official biography claimed that he had graduated from Baruch College with a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance.
However, according to NPR, Baruch College said there were no records of George Santos, born on July 22, 1988, who graduated in 2010.
Despite that, Santos has not been questioned by the police, and the rumors of his alleged arrest are baseless.

George Santos Faked His Biography
Santos has been all over the news over the past week following the accusations by a leading New York Republican who said he faked his campaign biography while running for Congress.
The 34-year-old admitted to falsifying his biology, saying that he embellished his résumé. However, he also clarified that he had no plans to resign his House of Representatives seat.

Moreover, Santos confessed to lying about his career experience. He said he had never worked for Goldman Sachs and Citigroup, saying it could have been a better choice of words.
Talking about his experience, the Rep-elect said he worked at Link Bridge, which helped make capital introductions between clients and investors.
He added that Goldman Sachs and Citigroup were LPS, Limited Partnerships that Link Bridge dealt with.
Furthermore, talking about his studies, Santos admitted that he did not graduate from any institute of higher learning, verifying the claims that he did not study at Baruch College.

George Santos has been caught between lies far too often. He has usually provided conflicting accounts of his residence and sexuality.
Talking about his sexuality to the media in October 2022, Santos told them that he was openly gay. However, he married a woman in 2012 and divorced in 2019.
During the 2020 election campaign, he listed his home as Elmhurst, Queens, New York, just outside the district’s boundaries in which he was seeking office.
The openly gay politician said that he and his husband later moved to Whitestone, Queen, in July 2020 and claimed that they found stones and eggs thrown at their apartment in January 2021.
However, his landlady and owner, who lived in the rowhouse’s lower units, did not recall any such incident, and no police report of any vandalism was addressed during that time.
In March 2022, George told Newsday that he had moved out of the Whitestone rowhouse because of the vandalism and lived in an unspecified neighborhood.
Nevertheless, seven months later, Santos said he still lived in the Whitestone home and was registered to vote at the Whitestone address during the Congressional campaigns but did not live there.
