Meet Liz Truss Husband Hugh O’Leary

Hugh O’Leary (born 1974) is an English accountant & the spouse of Liz Truss, the United Kingdom’s departing Prime Minister.

O’Leary was born in Allerton, Liverpool, and reared as the eldest of three siblings in Heswall, Wirral.

John O’Leary was a college instructor who had studied law and worked for the Liverpool law office of Rex Makin. Susan O’Leary was a nurse.

At the time, there was just one director at Affinity Global Real Estate and Arrakis Investments Limited, where O’Leary worked as the financial director.

O’Leary has run unsuccessfully for the Conservative Party in various local elections to Greenwich London Borough Council.

He ran for the Labour-held St Alfege ward in the 1998 council election. In the subsequent council election in 2002, he ran in Greenwich West; the Labour Party gained all three seats.

John Truss, Liz’s father, is a mathematician and emeritus professor of pure mathematics at the University of Leeds, where he specializes in mathematical logic.

Her mother is a nurse named Priscilla Mary Grasby. Her parents met while studying at Cambridge. Liz has three brothers, but no information about them is currently accessible.
