She is the NCIS Supervisory Special Agent and Operations Manager for the OSP (Office of Special Projects) based in Los Angeles, California. 

American Actress Linda Hunt plays the role of Hetty in the action television series, for which she has received two Teen Choice Awards. 

Although she missed a lot of the previous season because of COVID, she took the vaccines and felt better, returning for the finale. The actress was thrilled to be back on set, and we expect to see her again this season.

A body was discovered with Hetty’s I.D. in the Season 14 opening episode, which aired on October 9, 2022.

Yes, Hetty will return to NCIS in Season 14 of the series. She will hopefully be back in time for the massive NCIS-verse crossover airing in January 2023.

But Executive Producer R. Scott Gemmill assures us that we do not need to worry as the resilient agent will be back.

With one of her sons, Callen, getting ready to tie the knot to Anastasia “Anna” Kolcheck (Bar Paly), there is no way she would miss that.

Gemmill shared with Variety that Hetty has been a vital force within the agency and in Callen’s past. They plan to rescue her at some point and find out what she has gotten herself into in Syria, but they are trying to figure out when they can pull it off.

Hetty was the main character from seasons 1 to 12 and returned as a special guest star in season 13. 

As previously stated, she is an NCIS Supervisory Special Agent who serves as the Operations Manager for the OSP.While on assignment, the former CIA officer controls the Backroom Support Personnel, who provide them with a variety of services ranging from micro-surveillance cameras to transportation to foreign countries.

It was later known that she had been assigned to the L.A. Field Office before December 2008.

Throughout the series, she is revealed as adopting and raising four children and mentoring them into becoming highly skilled agents for the U.S. government. It includes daughters Grace Stevens and Lauren Hunter and sons Sullivan and Grisha Callen.
