However, The court actions against Vhong Navarro recently drew a response from Cedric Lee, Vina Morales’ ex-boyfriend and close friend Deniece Cornejo.

The businessman stated in a statement provided to ABS-CBN News that the TV host, actress, and dancer must answer all charges, just like he and Deniece Cornejo did in the past.

After almost nine years, they will finally have their day in court, and he claims that this makes him feel partly vindicated.

What Happened To Deniece Cornejo?

In response to a complaint made by model Deniece Cornejo, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) recently detained host-actor Vhong Navarro after obtaining an arrest warrant for rape, a felony for which there is no chance of posting a bond.

Before being detained, Navarro posted a bond in the sum of P36,000. The response to an arrest warrant for acts of lust was also connected to a complaint by Cornejo.

The two events are only the most recent in a long-running argument between the two celebrities that began in 2014 when Cornejo accused Navarro of raping her.

Over the years, there have been several affidavits, complaints, and files related to these charges, which Navarro has constantly denied.

Navarro’s arrest warrants, stated in a July 2022 judgment by the Court of Appeals that was found in Cornejo’s favor, have finally been issued this year after many years of conflict.

Is Deniece Cornejo Arrested?

No, Deniece Cornejo is not arrested. However, Ferdinand “Vhong” Navarro, a comedian and television host, turned himself into the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Monday.

He turned himself in after a Taguig Metropolitan Trial Court (MTC) issued a warrant for his arrest on the charge of acts of lasciviousness made by model Deniece Cornejo.

Navarro claims that he was attacked and subjected to extortion by Cornejo, Cedric Lee, and their other supporters. According to Cornejo’s team, Lee and the company allegedly caught him attempting to rape Cornejo, which is how he got harmed.
