Robbie Keane Mother Anne Keane Passed Away: Death Cause And Family

Robbie Keane Mother, Anne Keane, sadly passed away on Monday. Robbie tributed to his mother through a post on social media.

Robbie is a Former Ireland soccer superstar striker. He played as a forward while he was on the team. He sometimes used to play as a winger, a second striker, and an attacking midfielder.

At age ten, He played for his first official junior club. He signed a contract with a club named Crumlin United.

He had before played in various local clubs, and Fettercairn is one of them. At the age of Sixteen, Robbie signed a deal with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Irish center-forward Robbie Keane has played with multiple top teams worldwide, including Liverpool, Tottenham, Wolves, Leeds, Inter Milan, etc.

The Irishman’s stint at Tottenham Hotspur was the highlight of his club career, as he scored many goals during that period. He ended his career in India after playing for ATK.

Robbie Keane’s Mother, Anne Keane, passed away on Monday at St. James’s Hospital. Keane announced the heartbreaking news through his Instagram Post. The former striker stated that he got his strength for his mother. 

Moreover, he called his dearest mother the ROCK of family as she cherished every family member, whether it be her children or grandchildren.

Though Robbie had shared heartbreaking news of his mother’s demise, he has not disclosed the cause of death. However, the cause of Anne’s demise might be her old age.

Many acknowledged in tribute to Robbie’ Mother, with both Celtic F.C. and La Galaxy, former teams of Robbie’s, sending their condolences.

The former Ireland captain gave special thanks to his mum and remembered his dad Robbie Keane Sr and said he would be waiting for Anne “with open arms.”

He wrote a heartfelt tribute with a beautiful photo of his mother. He captioned the photo, adoring and praising his mom.

He also waved a happy goodbye to Anne, claiming his Father would be waiting for Anne in heaven. He also shared that his mother is full of Humor and makes every member happy and cheerful.

Similarly, Robbie Keane’s wife Claudine also wrote a heartfelt tribute to Robbie’s Mother, Anne.

Claudine addressed the post to her “beloved “mother-in-law and shared how “totally devastated” the family has been since her death.

She reflected on her last memories of Anne Keane in a recent Instagram post, telling the story of their last meal together at St. James’s Hospital.

Claudine posted an emotional post with a collection of photos of Anne, her family, and her grandchildren at confirmation, at an L.A. Galaxy match, dinner, and dancing together.

Robbie said the funeral will be held on Thursday with Anne’s “favorite singer, Mary black, at the church singing on your final journey home.”

After Robbie’s mother’s demise, his family consists of seven members, including his wife, two sons, a brother, and two sisters. 

Keane’s wife, Claudine, is currently a popular model. She served short-term gigs for money in her starting career. She and Robbie have been dating since childhood. A mutual friend at a Party introduced the couple.

She supported her husband in every step of his career. The couple finally tied the knot in June 2008. The wedding ceremony occurred at St. Alphonsus and Columba Church in Ballybrack, Dublin, and was attended by all their family members, friends, and Keane’s teammates. 

The couple has two sons, one named Robert Jr, born in 2009 & Hudson, born in 2015. Keane has a brother called Graham and two sisters, Amy and Natasha.

Robbie Keane reportedly ‘interested’ in vacant Championship job.

Legendary Ireland international striker Robbie Keane is reportedly interested in becoming the new first-team manager of English Championship side Hull City.

That is according to a report in Hull Live, which claims that the former Middlesbrough assistant manager has expressed his interest in taking the role at the club.

 The report also claims that the club is moving fast to appoint a new manager after their slow start to the season. Should Keane be offered the role at the club, it would be his first job as a head coach in first-team management since retiring.

Recently, Keane has been involved as an assistant manager at Middlesbrough under Jonathan Woodgate, while he has also worked under Mick McCarthy when working with the FAI.

However, his exit from the senior international set-up with Ireland turned sour as Stephen Kenny opted not to call upon his services in his backroom team as manager.
