Shadab Khan is a Pakistani international cricketer who serves as the team’s vice-captain in limited-overs cricket. In domestic cricket and the Pakistan Super League (PSL), he is the captain of Islamabad United and Northern.
Khan, an all-rounder, is one of Pakistan’s top T20I bowlers. He is also recognized as one of Pakistan’s top fielders. He was one of the Pakistan Cricket Board’s players centrally contracted as of 2018.
On April 7, 2017, Khan played in his first One Day International (ODI) for Pakistan against the West Indies. On April 30, 2017, he made his Pakistani Test debut against the West Indies.

However, Shadab was ruled out of ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2019 due to an illness. The 20-year-old was excluded from Pakistan’s tour of England ahead of the 2019 World Cup after blood testing confirmed he had the illness.
Shadab Khan, an all-rounder for Pakistan, had a hepatitis diagnosis before the World Cup. After blood tests in April confirmed the 20-year-old had the illness, he was thus ruled out from Pakistan’s tour of England.
Shadab reportedly caught the illness in Rawalpindi while receiving dental care, according to Pakistani media. Shadab saw a UK-based doctor for a checkup and was told to take two weeks off, according to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Shadab visited Dr. Patrick Kennedy, a renowned gastroenterologist and hepatologist specializing in treating athletes with liver illness, and was given medication, according to a PCB release.
Shadab had additional blood tests in Lahore following a two-week break, and his suitability for the World Cup was determined, according to a PCB spokesman.
Pakistan’s 15-man preliminary World Cup roster, released a month before the England tour, included Shadab.

Shadab just contributed five runs of the total runs made by Pakistan. Meanwhile, Shan Masood and Iftikhar Ahmed contributed 52 and 51 runs, respectively.
Leading the bowling department as the team’s vice-captain, Shadab couldn’t contribute any wickets to the team and ended up giving 21 runs in four overs.
As a result, team India won the match with a great batting display from Virat Kohli, who scored 82 not out with 52 deliveries. Kohli hit six fours and four sixes in that innings.
